A southern girl with an adventurous soul, Anna Pearson was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and caught the music bug young when she began writing songs and playing guitar at age 8. Growing up, Anna gravitated toward the storytelling giants of Americana music including James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, and Dolly Parton. When Anna was exposed to powerful Christian songwriters in early high school - like I AM THEY and Matthew West - Anna started combining storytelling with her deepening faith to begin developing her signature style of easy listening, but thought-provoking, faith-inspired music. When Anna isn’t playing music, she’s typically playing outside - from rock climbing to mountain biking to backpacking with her husband and dog, her love of nature and God’s creation shines through in the reflective nature of her lyrics. Above all, Anna’s music aims to make people stop and ponder life, in all its beauty, joy, purpose, and hope.
