Meet Ann
Ann Voskamp is a four-time New York Times bestselling author whose deeply personal and poetic writing has resonated with millions across the globe. Her debut book, One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are, remained on the New York Times bestseller list for over 65 weeks, has sold more than one million copies, and has been translated into over 22 languages. She is also the author of The Greatest Gift, Unwrapping the Greatest Gift, and The Broken Way. With raw vulnerability, Ann shares her journey of faith, family, and transformation—how a life shaped by brokenness and grace led her from academic halls to a gravel road farmhouse, from sleepless nights of motherhood to global advocacy work. Named one of Christianity Today’s 50 Women Most Influencing Today’s Church and Culture, Ann’s voice has appeared on The Today Show, in WORLD Magazine, Christianity Today, and The Huffington Post. Yet her greatest passion is advocating for the vulnerable around the world through her work with Compassion and other global partners. A wife to a farmer and mother to seven children—six by birth and one through adoption—Ann lives in rural Canada where she homeschools, writes, and continues to seek the sacred in the ordinary. Her life and work are rooted in a quiet conviction: that the truest words we speak are the ones we live. She invites others into a slower, more intentional way of seeing—where even the laundry line and the kitchen sink become places of sacred encounter.
