Becoming.

Becoming is a six-week devotional written to help women rest their souls in God’s truth, especially in the hardest days. Whether you’re walking through adversity, carrying heavy burdens, or simply longing for a deeper faith, this devotional will meet you with hope and remind you who you are in Christ. Each week focuses on a powerful truth: • You are Loved – resting in God’s unwavering love. • Anchor Your Hope – trusting His promises when life feels unsteady. • You are Enough – stepping fully into your identity in Christ. • You are Becoming – surrendering to God’s refining process. • Your Love is Your Legacy – living in a way that leaves lasting impact. • You are Free – walking boldly in the freedom Jesus gives. Inside you’ll find devotional readings, reflection questions, Scripture, prayer, and practical challenges that invite you to dig deeper, build confidence in who God created you to be, and embrace joy again. I wrote Becoming out of my own journey of walking through fire, being rescued from deep waters, and God’s relentless love. My prayer is that through these pages you’ll discover: A faith that steadies you. A confidence rooted in Jesus. A reminder that you are chosen, loved, and becoming all that He created you to be.

About

Hi! 😊 My name is Brooke and God has blessed me with a story to share —one of hope, healing, and purpose.
I am a single mom of two amazing humans, a nonprofit leader, a speaker, and woman of unshakable faith who has walked through seasons of deep adversity. From surviving abuse, navigating poverty, and nearly facing homelessness as a single mother, to rebuilding my life, career, and faith—my journey is one of redemption and resilience.

Through it all, I’ve discovered that no circumstance is too broken for God to restore, and no calling is too far gone for Him to fulfill.

Today, I have the honor of serving vulnerable youth and families through my work at a nonprofit organization, and I continue to see the power of God’s love in action every day. I believe God uses our pain and our stories as tools to encourage others—and I’d love to do just that – encourage you and the women in your life.
I would be honored to join you for your women’s ministries, faith gatherings, retreats, and special events.
The posture of my heart is rooted in Scripture, based in personal testimony, and Godly encouragement.
I am a proud Michigander who finds life most refreshing when floating in Higgins Lake. I love love love to read a good book, chase sunsets, walk alongside and encourage friends, and spend time with my family. And oh, how my heart lights up for the Christmas season! I treasure the joy and wonder and warmth of the season, the togetherness, and the beauty of celebrating the birth of Christ.

The posture of my heart is rooted in Scripture, based in personal testimony, and Godly encouragement.
I help women who feel burdened by their past and shackled by shame rise into their purpose in bold faith, authentic joy, and unshakeable identity. I am living proof because I did hit rock bottom but found a way back, with God's Grace, Love, and Guidance carrying me every step of the way.
I speak from scars, not just a stage, offering real hope for women ready to be boldly anchored in faith, live fully, and ready to move into God’s will for them.
My heart’s desire is that each event is tailored to meet the needs of your audience including (and not limited to) worship, interactive exercises pointing to Jesus, prayer, and a time of self-reflection.
If you’re planning upcoming events and are looking for a speaker who brings authenticity, vulnerability, and Spirit-led encouragement—I would love to connect with you!
